App Updates and Release Notes
After the initial public release, the app is very well received. Thanks to our users for very positive feedback and suggestions for improvements. We are continuously working hard to improve it further and as a result, make frequent releases.
Major app updates are documented below:
Please note, admins have to manually update major versions from Apps → Manage your apps in Jira setting. Minor versions are automatically applied.
v5.27.0 Name changed to Issue Templates Pro

v5.26.0 Prevent data loss when applying template

Until now, if you wrote a long text into an issue description but switched the issue type, it overwrote the description field with the assigned template, resulting in loss of manually entered text.
We have fixed this issue. The app will not apply templates if you have entered a long text into the description field.
v5.18.0 Pagination (upgrade required for older versions)

We have added 20 templates per page pagination when there are more than 20 templates. This limit is enforced by Atlassian hosted Forge Storage used by the app.
If you are using a version from v3.0.0 to v5.0.0, you need to upgrade the app. Otherwise, the app will throw error and users will not be able to manage templates. This was not planned, therefore we will provide free upgrade to paid version. Please contact our 👉 support.
You can view versions and upgrade the app from Top Nav → Apps → Manage apps.
